The primary mission of Facilities Management and Construction is to serve the needs of students, faculty, and staff by maintaining and improving the physical environment and facilities of the University of Houston - Clear Lake.
Mission Essential Task List
Building Maintenance: Maintain the equipment and facilities necessary for the University of Houston - Clear Lake’s mission of teaching, research, and community service.
Interior Design, and Space Planning: Enhance, enrich, and enable, the physical environment and facilities of University of Houston - Clear Lake in the most appropriate and cost effective way possible, in order to provide a pleasant, safe, and accessible place in support of the university wide mission of teaching, and research.
Custodial Services: Provide the cleanest and safest facilities for use by faculty, staff, students, and the community.
Landscape Services: Promote an image of the excellence of the University of Houston - Clear Lake through the landscape by providing an attractive, enjoyable, safe, educational environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Central Plant: Provide safe, reliable, and economical distribution of campus thermal utilities in support of a teaching and research facility.
